陈意，博士，教授，博导，教育部重要人才计划特聘教授，四川省“天府青城计划”天府科技菁英，四川省学术和技术带头人后备人选，美国麻省理工学院（MIT）化学系访问学者，曾获四川省科技进步一等奖、教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果一等奖、中国轻工业联合会科学技术发明一等奖，现任国际皮革工艺师和化学家协会联合会（IULTCS）执行委员会委员、中国皮革协会科技委员会委员、中文核心期刊《皮革科学与工程》、英文学术期刊《Collagen and Leather》编委。迄今为止，以第一作者或通讯作者身份发表论文70余篇；作为项目负责人，已获国家重点研发计划课题/子课题（2）、国家自然科学基金（4）等纵向课题资助，同时承担了30余项企业横向课题；现阶段主要研究方向为合成革用新材料及清洁生产技术、大宗非粮油脂高值利用、葫芦脲超分子化学。
