The main aim is to cultivate the senior technical personnel who can meet the different needs of light industry, especially for the development of leather industry. We pay more attention to the balanced development of morality, intelligence and physical agility of all graduates, and the undergraduates should master the fundamental theory, knowledge and technology about leather engineering, dyeing and finishing engineering and some interrelated technology. Obtaining the versatile technical engineers with the ability of research, technology, management, analysis and designing about leather chemistry and engineering, dyeing and finishing chemistry and engineering and pulp and paper engineering were our training objectives.
