The 6th East Asia international conference of food industry development was held in Mokpo university of south Korea on july 6th to 10th, 2010. This conference was hosted both by Food Industry Institute of Mokpo University of South Korea and Food Engineering Department, with the motif of " the traditional wine brewing technology and industry status quo of South Korea, China and Japan." Simultaneity, Mokpo University has strongly supported this meeting. And its President attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
Five teachers of our collage, Xiaoli LU, Wenxue Zhang, Min Tan, Aimin Luo and Li Zeng etc., have invited to attended the conference. Besides other 6 delegates, Professor Xiaoli Lu (Vice President of our college) and Professor Wenxue Zhang (Deputy Head of Department of Food Engineering of our college) also delivered a speech respectively. At the same time, 18 papers from our food engineering department have embodied in the conference proceedings. The conference was crowned with success. The president of Mokpo University met with Chinese crew before the conference. We also investigated some vintage, pickles and tea scientific institutions and processing enterprise of Korea. It is pleased to inform that the 7th East Asia international conference of food industry will be held in Sichuan province, in the year of 2011.
